TAS in Session: The Joy Formidable
This trio of effervescent, sky-gazing rockers is one of the most exciting, young bands to tumble out of Britain in the last two years. Guitarist/vocalist Ritzy Bryan, bassist Rhydian Dafydd and drummer Matt Thomas dropped by The Alternate Side back in January for a live session and we've got exclusive performances of "Cradle," "The Greatest Light Is The Greatest Shade" and a brand new song, "Magnifying Glass" from their debut album, due out in June.
TAS In Session: The Heavy
Thanks to a Superbowl-debuting Kia commercial using one of their songs and David Letterman's jubilant response to their January performance on his show (Letterman actually requested an encore), explosive funk-rockers The Heavy are suddenly getting the Stateside attention they deserve. And the English quartet pretty much blew us away when they dropped by The Alternate Side to perform and chat with our own Alisa Ali.
